This is an aside titled 'Cut and Run: Banana Republic Stealing Ideas from Jen Stark' dated 5/2/08

Taking inspiration from wormholes and the coriolis effect, while using little more than a X-Acto knife, Jen Stark’s color paper sculptures are technical and creative masterpieces. Banana Republic thinks so. But rather than employing Stark herself, they simply ripped off her work for its recently opened London store.

Tragic. Most disturbing are the screen captures of a cop entering his room that morning while the chat forum participants are still incapable of taking the situation seriously ("Zomg!" "Lol!") If anyone can be a celebrity, everyone has an opportunity to be Christine Chubbuck.

Meanwhile, the Yellow Brick Road was the gold standard, and Toto (Dorothy’s faithful dog) represented the Prohibitionists, who were an important part of the silverite coalition.
